FAQs
HOW TO BOOK
For custom tattoo ideas, please submit your request here. I also have pre-drawn flash designs available to be tattooed here. Please only resubmit your request if you do not hear from me within a week. I do not tattoo anyone under the age of 18, even with parental consent. There are no exceptions. Photo ID is required when you come in for your tattoo appointment
DEPOSIT / RESCHEDULING
If you would like to make an appointment, a non-refundable deposit is required (deposit amount differs for different currencies). The deposit will be deducted from the total of your tattoo. For multiple session pieces, it will come off of the final session.
If a design is done but you decide not to go ahead with it, it is considered a design fee. Please give me at least 72 hours notice if you need to reschedule your appointment, and you can only make 2 schedule changes to the same appointment. The amount paid as deposit is to be used within one year from the initial transaction date. If you fail to follow any of the policies listed above including no-show, your deposit will be forfeited.
I travel a lot for work and have different durations of stay at different cities. I’ll try to accommodate rescheduling requests but due to booking limitations NO reschedule can be guaranteed and deposits cannot be used on future appointments if the appointment is cancelled
PREP
Get a good rest, drink lots of water and avoid alcohol the night before your appointment. Moisturize the tattoo area days before your appointment. Be sure to eat before coming in and bring food and drinks to snack on throughout the day for longer sessions. Limited street parkings are available outside of the studio. Plan for traffic and try to arrive on time to avoid cutting into your appointment time. Wear loose, clean, comfortable clothing
AFTERCARE
Remove the bandage after 2-3 days after it being applied, wash your hands thoroughly before gently with warm water and or with a mild, unscented soap if needed. Do not rebandage your tattoo even if the bandage came off early. Pat-try the tattoo with a clean towel or a clean paper towel. Do not rebandage or apply moisturizer yet
•
Keep the tattoo dry and free from restrictive clothing or things that may chafe or scrape at the tattoo. As your tattoo is healing, refrain from allowing it to contact foreign surfaces. (ex: Do not rest your fresh forearm tattoo on a bar room table.)
•
Do not submerge your tattoo in water (baths, saunas, pools, lakes, etc) and avoid sunlight during healing. You can shower with the tattoo, just keep it from being exposed to water for extended periods of time and pat-dry it as soon as you get out of the shower. After a few days, your tattoo may start to flake or get itchy, apply a THIN layer of unscented and water-based lotion and repeat this 2-3 times a day until it is fully healed. DO NOT LEAVE A THICK LAYER OF CREAM ON THE TATTOO. Do not scratch your tattoo or pick at the scabs, no matter how itchy they may be: itching is a sign of healing
•
If your tattoo stings, and becomes red throughout the healing process, this may indicate an irritation. Rinse it with warm water and dry it immediately. Refrain from reapplying any products to it (including the soap you wash it with) and watch for worsening conditions. Sunlight will cause fading so it is important to use sunscreen and continue to moisturize your tattoo for long-term aftercare
•
Do not over-think the process or over-nurture your wound. Let your body do the work
